Founders Trey and Kristina Harrison
Pure Joy Ministry and Outreach was born out of radical obedience to the Lord’s call at the end of 2024. In response, its founders surrendered the life they had built in order to serve Him full-time in the streets—selling their home, giving away their car, and signing over their portion of a co-owned business. Now living full-time in an RV, they dedicate their lives to serving those on the streets, bringing light into some of the darkest places.
At the heart of this mission is a deep commitment to serving the homeless by meeting practical needs, building life-giving relationships through the love of Jesus, and walking alongside individuals as they pursue freedom through substance abuse recovery programs.
Having personal experiences and past struggles that closely relate to those they serve, the team offers more than support; they offer understanding and compassion. They strive to be a living example of what the joy of the Lord looks like: a surrendered life marked by freedom, restoration, and the breaking of chains.
